Matthew Daniel's London Soul Scene - June
June 5th 2008 brings my monthly SoulTracks feature called The London Soul Scene. Pretty much most of what I write about I find online on my space as they have a large musical community of interesting and unknown creative types from all across the UK and London.
Eric Lau is a on the rise music producer based in London. His debut album New Territories features some of London's brightest up and coming talent. Released earlier in 2008 on Ubiquity and Fat City. Eric Lau has had good press feedback including producers to DJ's and top music mags. www.myspace.com/ericlaumusic
Tosin TAO has an unforgettable soulful talent. A singer originally from South London but resides a lot
in the USA. Tosin TAO is also featured on Eric Lau's New Territories record with 1st class soul song Don't Let Them. www.myspace.com/tosintao
Marcina Arnold currently Marcina Arnold & The Love Rats as a joke, is extremely cultural and this is included in her musical creativity. Marcina Arnold lives in London. She released a stunning and under-rated album/EP Twisted Blue Folk and an EP called Introducing... www.myspace.com/marcinaarnold
"Life is more class with brass" quotes London musician Jason Yarde. He is an Alto, Saprona, Baritone Sax player who also
does vocals, percussion and piano. Send him a message on my space if you need him. www.myspace.com/jasonyarde
